Introducing the Inside UATX subscriber chat!
A space for the Inside UATX community to converse and connect.
Greetings from sunny Austin, Texas!
Today, I’m announcing a new addition to our Substack publication: the Inside UATX subscriber chat.
This is a conversation space exclusively for subscribers—kind of like a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post questions and updates, and you can jump into the discussion.
Here, you can ask me personally about the extraordinary people and conversations at the heart of our educational enterprise.
You’ll also hear from special guests, including UATX faculty, staff, and students.
Please join today according to the directions below. We look forward to getting in touch and learning more about you.
With all best wishes,
Maggie
How to get started
Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent sent via email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. You can also access chat on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into our thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.

This venue is just quirky enough to be GOOD...A UNIVERSE- ity in a NUT shell.
I have news for y'all...
An untried way (except by me) to reconstruct the origin of human vocabulary.
A Head of a University of Colorado Sociology Dept told me a few years ago, [quote]:
"Your arguments are very persuasive. And if valid, which they seem to be, I think this is possibly the most important discovery of the century."
My first book, containing the original findings, was accepted by a College of Oxford University, recopied, and distributed to graduate students.

My grandson is interested, but he is concerned that U. of Austin is not accredited. Can you comment on the accreditation process?
