If the students read carefully and discuss the eighty-eight texts, and I want to believe they will, then they will be among the most enlightened and fortunate people anywhere.
Thanks for sharing this reading list; it's always insightful to see what is being taught. I'm curious, what if students primarily encounter these perspectives without a similarly robust curiculum exploring feminist or critical race theory in depth? Does the program ensure diverse foundational readings for all viewpoints?
I went to UW-Madison in the 70’s. I’m still at being a student. To that end, I will be reading some of the books on this wonderful reading list. UTAX is the future of education. There’s hope after all!
I'm jealous! I wish I had had the foresight to seek out the analog of the UTAX experience when I attended college in the 1970's. The combination of a mind-expanding reading list, small classes, and professors focused on teaching (as opposed to research and/or side consulting gigs) is intoxicating.

How about mathematics and science?
Thank You
I hope that reading and understanding the Constitution is also required of students,
What majors are offered at UTAX? Only textbooks I see are in the humanities. Are any STEM majors available?
